Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be among the best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s first female gymnast to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) were raised there. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles received a silver medal for vault as well as a gold medal on the floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin participating in the elite level of competition. Within two years she had been the best in this particular discipline. Biles's consistent, exuberant personality and the level of effort in her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercises -- helped to set her out from the rest of the athletes.
