Sharron Williams passed away on the 15th of March, 2022. The singer was born in Miami on the 11th of November, 1982. She was the daughter of Floyd Williams and Abigail Evans Williams. The training for dance started in the New World School of the Arts which she attended until her graduation from in high school. While she was at New World, she received a number of scholarships to attend the Alvin Ailey summer intensive which eventually led her to join the second group, Ailey II. After that, at Florida State University she received the Bachelor of Applied Economics as well as the second Bachelors of Interdisciplinar Social Science. When she realized that she was blessed with a vast spectrum of abilities in dance and a love for arts and culture and performing arts, she started her acting studies at Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater alongside James Brill. She's been a part of films and television projects, including HBO's Lovecraft Country and Vinyl, Netflix Original Series The Get Down and Scary Movie 5 Cinderella was also her role for the Little Orchestra Society's Cinderella production that was staged at Lincoln Center. She was fortunate to be performing across through the US as well as Canada in Disney's The Lion King and most recently in the Broadway company.
