Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style quickly propelled her to the top charts once she caught the attention of the public in 2010. Her ability to accomplish this through the songs "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a distinctive soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with inspiring lyrics. Like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge of modern mainstream pop and arty independent music. Polydor Records offered her a deal with an important label.
