sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was originally born on July 6, 1946, in Hell's Kitchen as Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone. He's the son with the most experience of Francesco Stallone Sr. (a hairdresser) and Jackie Stallone (astrologer, and dancer). Frank Stallone Sr, his younger brother is an actor, musician, and hairdresser. Complications during childbirth caused the left lower portion of Sylvester's face to be crippled, which gave him his now-iconic "snarling" look , and a somewhat slurred speech. Due to the volatile family dynamics between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. The couple later split up. Stallone took classes in drama in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. He quit school prior to getting his degree and relocating to New York City to pursue acting as a profession.
